I begin my book, Curing Christianity, with the following statement:
Fear may be the biggest, most unacknowledged sin prevalent among Christians today. More precisely, it’s the actions people take as a result of fear which perhaps account for the most sin.
In this first chapter, Existential Fear of the Boogeyman, I consider the emotion of fear, and how to handle fear in a godly manner. Check out the book to discover how to deal with fear!
Fear is a natural human emotion. It is good because it helps protect us and keep us safe. However, not all of our fears are reasonable. Furthermore, we can respond to our fears in godly or ungodly ways. Of course as Christians, we should strive to respond to our fears in a godly manner.
